Role Overview
This position is a part-time, remote opportunity for entry-level data analysts at Independiente. The role focuses on assisting the organization in making data-driven decisions by collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency. Daily duties include performing basic data analyses, creating reports and dashboards, and aiding in the interpretation of trends and insights for internal teams.
Collaboration with colleagues to specify data needs, document analytical methods, and maintain data models and assets is also a key aspect. This role is ideal for candidates starting their career in data analysis, offering mentorship and structured learning while contributing to actual projects.
Key Qualifications
- Strong analytical reasoning and foundational data analytics skills to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Basic understanding of statistics and quantitative methodologies supporting data-focused recommendations.
- Effective communication abilities to clearly articulate findings to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate team collaboration.
- Introductory knowledge in data modeling to help organize and structure data for efficient reporting and analysis.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet applications like Excel or Google Sheets, with additional exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Aptitude for quick learning, following established processes, managing time well in a remote context, with attention to detail.
