Job description
Job purpose
This position supports the smooth day-to-day functioning of the accounts receivable team, with a focus on accurate processing and timely customer service.
Accounts receivable duties
- Generate and send customer invoices in accordance with the team’s receivables policies and standards.
- Handle receivables-related transactions, including refunds and credit notes.
- Make sure refund-related emails are answered and closed within the required turnaround time.
- Receive walk-in customers and handle questions raised by phone and email, ensuring they are resolved within the expected timeframe.
- Serve as the initial contact for customer requests and inquiries, and address basic to intermediate complaints connected to the accounts receivable function.
- Perform additional receivables-related tasks as assigned or needed by the manager.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is required.
