About the role

At the SenVital Senioren- und Pflegezentrum Kleinmachnow am Stolper Berg, you can complete a Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr (FSJ) if you have finished school and are looking for a meaningful next step. The program is aimed at people who want to contribute socially, support older adults in everyday life, and gain insight into different areas while exploring which profession may suit them best.

Program details

The FSJ runs for 1 year. It can be completed for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 18 months.

What you will do

  • Provide everyday support in a senior residence and assist elderly and care-dependent people.
  • Use the opportunity to get familiar with different tasks inside a senior living and care environment and learn more about social work.
  • Take part in educational seminars and exchange ideas with other volunteers while building new skills and perspectives.

Profile sought

  • You are open-minded, curious, motivated, and naturally inclined toward helping others.
  • You have completed compulsory schooling and already hold a school-leaving certificate.
  • You are between 16 and 26 years old.
  • You enjoy being involved with and supporting other people.
