Become an integral contributor to an exciting new music venture focused on crafting an original, globally appealing artistic universe. Collaborate directly with a singer-songwriter and composer based in Portugal to consistently deliver fresh music, cinematic visuals, and engaging short-form content designed to captivate audiences on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This long-term project is perfect for a creatively driven video editor passionate about storytelling and committed to shaping a distinctive visual presence that supports both online growth and eventual live performances worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Produce and edit short-form videos tailored for prominent social media platforms aligning with the artistic vision of the project.
- Contribute innovative ideas and storytelling techniques to elevate video content beyond standard editing.
- Experiment with diverse editing methods, effects, and pacing to boost audience engagement and reinforce the unique visual identity.
- Work closely with the artist to visually interpret and complement the music and narrative.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions and contribute to refining the content strategy continually.
- Provide initial test video(s) as part of a paid trial phase, with opportunities for sustained collaboration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in editing short-form social media content, preferably within music or creative sectors.
- A strong creative outlook and ability to bring original concepts to video production.
- Proficiency in leading video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Familiarity with current trends and platform-specific best practices for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Superb sense of pacing, composition, and narrative construction.
- A collaborative approach with openness to critique and experimentation.
- Effective communication skills in English, French, or Portuguese.
