Role Overview
We are seeking multiple Video Editors to develop captivating, vertical social video content for CBS Sports’ social channels including College Football, College Basketball, NFLonCBS, and CBS Sports HQ. This is a nine-month contract role with flexible work arrangements, welcoming remote, hybrid, or on-site candidates. Expect to work nights and weekends during key sports seasons to ensure timely delivery of dynamic content aligned with live sports programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce vertical, captioned video clips derived from CBS Sports podcasts, FAST channel shows, CBS studio and network broadcasts.
- Collaborate closely with social producers to tailor videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts platforms.
- Enhance clips creatively by integrating supplementary footage, photos, text, and graphical elements optimized for platform-specific formats.
Candidate Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience in social media, digital video editing, or comparable internships considered.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere and adeptness working across diverse media forms.
- Keen sense for pacing, captioning, and crafting content suitably formatted for vertical, mobile-focused social channels.
- Flexibility to work during prime-time sports when games are broadcasted, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to perform efficiently under rapid turnaround schedules.
- Strong writing and grammar skills essential.
