About the role
Shoreditch Nails is seeking a creative freelance content specialist to showcase its brand across two nail salons, a training academy, a polish range, and events. This role suits someone who is passionate about beauty, enjoys social media, and knows how to create content that feels engaging and on-trend.
What you’ll do
- Shoot eye-catching Instagram Reels and other short-form videos.
- Capture professional-quality photos for social media and marketing use.
- Edit video and image assets for Instagram, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to produce content that matches the brand voice and visual style.
- Cover content needs at internal events, external events, and brand collaborations.
- Occasionally film at the Training Academy on Sundays.
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on experience making content specifically for Instagram; TikTok experience would be an added advantage.
- A strong sense of framing, lighting, and visual style.
- Comfort and confidence when filming and editing Reels that hold attention.
- The ability to deliver refined, high-quality content aligned with the brand image.
- A dependable, organised approach and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- A proactive mindset with fresh ideas and a strong creative streak.
- Awareness of current social media trends and what performs well.
- Comfort being featured in content when needed, including shots of hands, feet, and nails.
- Own professional camera gear plus editing software/equipment; a company iPhone will also be available for use.
Availability and working pattern
The role requires a minimum commitment of every other Wednesday, one Tuesday each month, and occasional Sundays for Training Academy filming. The intended start date is as soon as possible. This is a freelance opportunity with the potential for continued work for the right person.
