Role Overview
We are looking for a Freelance Senior Artworker to join our team onsite in our East London studio and collaborate closely with our Creative, Technical, and Production units. This role involves crafting high-quality artwork for diverse live projects ranging from retail locations and brand activations to large-scale exhibitions and window displays. Candidates should be comfortable working on both two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork projects, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce superior print artwork for both small and large-scale formats.
- Prepare print-ready artwork, including cutter guides and detailed production specification documents.
- Translate creative concepts into finalized, production-appropriate files.
- Ensure technical accuracy and production readiness of all artwork.
- Manage revisions of artwork, maintaining strict version control.
- Develop thorough installation guides for display setups.
- Deliver all projects accurately within tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience as an Artworker focused on print production across various sizes and both 2D and 3D formats.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Knowledgeable about preparing artwork for large format prints and environmental graphic applications.
- Good understanding of print production methods and materials used.
- Experience in handling 2D and 3D artwork applications simultaneously.
- Exceptional eye for detail and quality control.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and convert them into practical, production-ready artwork.
- Capable of juggling multiple assignments efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration capabilities.
- Ability to stay composed and meet strict deadlines under pressure.
Engagement Terms and Location
- This is a freelance role, based mainly on-site at our East London studio.
- Standard working hours are 9 AM to 6 PM, but flexible scheduling is possible contingent upon project needs and deadlines.
- Candidates are expected to provide their own hardware and Adobe software licenses, except when specific studio equipment or color-managed tools are required.
