DogCat.app is a pet health tracking platform serving hundreds of thousands of pet owners. The app aims to simplify pet care by providing a connected, smart way to manage pets' health details including medications, vaccinations, weight, appointments, and daily activities. Expansion plans include support for veterinary clinics.
Role Overview
We seek a Freelance Senior Product Designer specialized in UX/UI to collaborate directly with the founder, who handles product and engineering leadership. Your mission will include enhancing user experience across the app, improving user flows, designing new features, generating wireframes and high-fidelity visuals, evolving the design system, identifying UX challenges, and simplifying workflows to reduce user friction. By year's end, there will be a chance to design a new product from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Refine and enhance current features and user journeys.
- Conceptualize and create new product UI designs from start to finish.
- Develop wireframes, low-fidelity drafts, and polished final designs.
- Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system.
- Detect UX issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Apply product-focused thinking to streamline complex processes and improve user experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UX/UI or product design.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating mobile application design expertise.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience managing design systems.
- Experience with user research methodologies and application.
- Strong grasp of comprehensive product design beyond aesthetics.
- Effective communication skills in fluent English or Portuguese.
- Interest in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance design productivity.
