Job description

Overview

Mindrift matches subject-matter experts with project-based AI work for major technology clients. The focus is on evaluating, testing, and helping improve AI systems. This is not a permanent position; participation is assigned per project.

Role Scope

Each assignment may differ, but typical work can include building and reviewing finance-related evaluation scenarios and test cases.

  • Draft and assess quarterly business review scenarios, including performance against benchmarks, drift in allocations versus IPS tolerance bands, and significant changes in fund documents.
  • Build rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting test cases that cover cost basis, short-term versus long-term capital gains, and the wash-sale rule.
  • Prepare suitability checks that examine risk tolerance, investment horizon, restricted holdings, and concentration rules against a client’s Investment Policy Statement.
  • Create fee-analysis scenarios covering portfolio-weighted expense ratios, advisory charges, and total-cost comparisons against category benchmarks.
  • Record test cases in a clear format with checked calculations, policy references, and correct answers.

How the Process Works

The typical flow is: apply, complete qualification step(s), join a project, finish tasks, and receive payment.

Time Commitment

For this project, the expected workload during active periods is about 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and is not a guaranteed number of hours. The commitment applies only while the project is live.

Compensation

Contributors on this project may earn up to the equivalent of $50 per hour, depending on experience level and speed of completion. Pay can differ from one project to another based on scope, complexity, and expertise needed.

Application Requirements

Please send your CV in English and include your English proficiency level.
