About the Role
Catbird seeks a freelance photo retoucher to join their creative team on a contract basis at their Brooklyn, NY location. The primary function is to enhance high-volume ecommerce jewelry photos, collaborating closely with the in-house photographer to produce visually appealing and natural product imagery.
Responsibilities
- Edit and retouch large quantities of jewelry photographs with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform precise color correction and matching to prepare images for online presentation.
- Ensure visual consistency throughout all image sets.
- Work in partnership with the creative team to meet project deadlines and maintain Catbird's quality standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in photo retouching within luxury, fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle sectors.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop.
- Proven ability to retouch highly reflective objects effectively.
- Strong expertise in color correction and compositing techniques.
- Familiarity with Capture One software workflows.
