Job description
Role Summary
We are looking for experienced researchers and journal editors to join us as freelance Journal Selection and Pre-Submission Peer Reviewers. This position involves evaluating manuscripts to ensure high publication standards and providing detailed feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer thorough peer-review-style comments on submitted manuscripts.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the manuscripts and assess their publication readiness.
- Create comprehensive evaluation reports summarizing your findings and suggestions.
- Deliver assessments promptly according to client deadlines.
Qualifications
- Must have prior experience as a journal editor or have been invited as a peer reviewer.
- Authored or co-authored at least 10 published research manuscripts.
- Hold a PhD or MD degree in one of the following disciplines: Surgery, Education, Ophthalmology, Clinical Oncology, Theoretical Physics / Atomic and Molecular Physics, Theology, Philosophy / Theology, Muscle, Bone, and Physical & Sports Medicine, Reproductive Medicine and OBGYN, Pediatrics, Sociology, Linguistics, Design and Aesthetics, or Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
