Job description

Role Overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced frontend specialist to support the Tendem project and produce polished landing pages and small websites. In this freelance, part-time remote position, you will work in a hybrid setup where AI agents take care of repetitive tasks and you focus on craftsmanship, visual quality, and final production readiness.

This opportunity is suited to professionals who have practical experience delivering landing pages, multi-page websites, and modern frontend interfaces. The work includes turning client briefs into responsive, conversion-focused pages that look professional and function well across devices.

About the Platform

The Mindrift platform brings together subject-matter experts and AI-driven projects for leading technology companies. Its purpose is to combine real-world expertise with generative AI workflows to create better outcomes.

What You Will Build

You will design, develop, and refine landing pages, waitlist pages, promotional pages, and compact multi-page websites such as portfolios, restaurant sites, small business sites, and simple online stores.

Responsibilities

  • Create landing pages, waitlist pages, and promotional pages with strong hero sections, clear calls to action, and layouts designed to convert.
  • Develop small multi-page sites such as Home, About, Services, and Contact pages based on client briefs and simple site structure.
  • Deliver responsive, mobile-first interfaces that render consistently across browsers and screen sizes.
  • Connect forms, email capture tools, basic analytics, and lightweight CMS or headless content sources where needed.
  • Use semantic HTML, metadata, performance-minded structure, and accessibility best practices to support SEO and advertising readiness.
  • Review AI-generated frontend output and improve the markup, styles, structure, and content placement until it is production quality.
  • Independently diagnose and resolve layout, performance, and cross-browser problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in frontend development, landing page creation, or website development.
  • A strong foundation in modern frontend development, responsive design, and production-quality landing page and website builds.
  • Solid command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design principles.
  • Practical experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, or Astro.
  • Experience using Tailwind or another modern component or utility-first CSS approach.
  • Ability to turn Figma files or written briefs into clean, maintainable code.
  • Familiarity with forms, email capture services, and basic analytics tools such as GA4 or Plausible.
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO, accessibility fundamentals, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Comfort using simple CMS platforms or headless content tools such as Webflow, Framer, Sanity, or Contentful is an advantage.
  • Strong visual judgment and attention to detail so pages feel intentional rather than generic.
  • Self-managed work style with the ability to deliver complete pages with little supervision.
  • A portfolio showing shipped landing pages and/or small websites.
  • English at upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.
  • Experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Design, or a related discipline is considered a plus.

Workload and Schedule

During active phases of the project, the expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This is only an estimate and not a guaranteed volume of work, and it applies only while the project is active.

The role is fully remote and can be done on your own schedule, provided you have a laptop and stable internet connection.

Compensation

Contributors on this project can earn up to the equivalent of $60 per hour, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Pay may differ across other projects depending on scope, complexity, and the expertise required.

Additional Benefits

  • Flexible remote work with full control over your schedule.
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment where people and AI agents collaborate closely.
  • Access to performance-based bonus opportunities for strong and consistent delivery.
