Role Overview

As a freelance face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver professional interpreting services across various contexts such as healthcare, education, local authorities, and commercial environments. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate clear and culturally sensitive communication between English and your foreign language. This position allows you to select assignments that suit your location and availability, providing autonomy alongside expert backing from a dedicated interpreter manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Verified proficiency in both English and your foreign language
• Documented experience in public service interpreting
• Right to work in the UK
• Two written references
• Two proof of address documents (e.g. utility bill, credit card statement)
• Valid identification
• Holding or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
