About the Role

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Brand Designer to contribute to the Tendem project, a hybrid AI and human-driven platform. This part-time freelance position is remote and perfect for creative professionals who specialize in brand asset creation, visual identity, and maintaining brand consistency across platforms. You will work closely with AI agents handling routine tasks while applying your strategic insight and domain expertise to develop robust and modern brand visuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design foundational branding assets such as logos, comprehensive visual identities, and full color palettes.
  • Create, manage, and organize variations of core brand elements systematically.
  • Maintain brand uniformity rigorously across all internal and external communications, including pitch decks and social media materials.
  • Develop scalable, long-term visual systems aligned with contemporary design standards.
  • Ensure design excellence by validating brand visuals across digital and print media to guarantee cohesive presentation.

Requirements

  • At least two years of relevant experience in brand design, graphic design, art direction, or visual communication disciplines.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or similar is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in creating brand identity elements from the ground up, including logos, color schemes, and typography systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma for efficient brand asset development and management.
  • Ability to adapt brand design flawlessly across various formats, such as social media, corporate presentations, and printed materials.
  • Strong organizational skills to architect brand systems, style guides, and asset libraries for team usage.
  • English language skills at an upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher.
  • A strategic, detail-oriented approach focused on sustained brand equity.
  • Diligence in upholding visual consistency, acting as a dedicated brand gatekeeper.
  • A self-motivated work ethic with strong problem-solving skills to independently deliver high-quality design outputs.
  • Submission of a portfolio demonstrating branding expertise including logo work, identity systems, and guidelines is required.

Additional Information

Weekly work hours during active project phases generally range between 10 to 20 hours; this is an estimate and subject to project demands.

Compensation can reach up to $40 per hour equivalent, depending on contribution level and pace. Pay scales differ across projects on the platform based on scope and expertise required.
