WOODS Specialty Cafe & Roastery is among Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding specialty coffee brands. The company runs several outlets across the Kingdom and continues to grow through both company-operated and franchise locations.

Role Overview

The Franchise Specialist will help drive the growth of the franchise network by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting franchise partners, overseeing site evaluation, and following up on operational execution to ensure every location meets WOODS standards.

Key Responsibilities

This position focuses on franchise growth, operational support, performance tracking, and brand consistency across all franchise outlets.

• Spot, assess, and prioritize promising franchise markets and business opportunities.
• Source and screen franchise leads, while supporting inquiry handling and the sales journey.
• Assist with franchise partner recruitment, onboarding, agreements, and related documentation.
• Carry out market studies, competitor reviews, and commercial checks for potential locations.
• Evaluate sites and prepare recommendation reports to guide expansion decisions.
• Support lease discussions and other location-related commercial evaluations.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for franchisees.
• Help coordinate launch plans for new franchise branches.
• Monitor outlet performance and ensure adherence to operational expectations.
• Work closely with operations, marketing, training, procurement, and quality teams to resolve support needs.
• Track franchise KPIs, compile monthly performance summaries, and highlight improvement actions.
• Support franchisees in improving sales and profitability outcomes.
• Conduct audits and site visits to confirm compliance with WOODS brand standards.
• Follow up on quality, customer experience, and operational requirements.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements across the franchise network.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Hospitality, or a similar discipline is required.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in franchising, business development, operations, retail, food and beverage, or multi-unit businesses.
• Strong analytical ability and sound commercial judgment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Well-developed organization and project coordination capabilities.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work fluently in both Arabic and English.
• Prior exposure to coffee, restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Experience with franchise business models, site selection, market analysis, or multi-branch operations is an advantage.

Success Metrics

The role will be evaluated using metrics such as the number of qualified franchise opportunities generated, franchise agreements signed, openings delivered on time, compliance performance, franchisee satisfaction, sales growth, and audit outcomes.
