Job description

About JunkStart

JunkStart is a unique junk removal franchisor distinguished by its patented pay-by-weight system—an industry first. We are a dynamic, fast-paced team dedicated to creating the operational framework to support our expanding group of franchisees. Our core values emphasize commitment, continuous improvement, team-first mentality, integrity, and resilience through challenges.

Role Overview

The Franchise Operations Specialist position plays a critical role as the key connector between the corporate office and franchise owners. You will oversee the entire franchise journey—from signing agreements, onboarding, to launching and providing ongoing support. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and a hands-on approach to help small business owners thrive rather than merely managing processes on paper.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and training programs, ensuring franchisees are fully equipped for success from the outset.
  • Act as the primary support contact for franchisee inquiries, delivering timely and effective operational assistance.
  • Organize and manage the launch process for new franchise territories, maintaining schedule adherence and smooth execution.
  • Handle franchise agreements, disclosures, renewals, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain and update the operations manual as the authoritative guide for franchise procedures.
  • Manage operational projects and administrative duties diligently, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

Candidate Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in franchise operations, support, training, onboarding, or related operational coordination roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with franchisees, licensees, or independent business owners is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational abilities capable of juggling multiple tasks such as launches, contracts, support tickets, and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with patience and clarity, comfortable acting as the main liaison.
  • Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to working in a rapidly developing and evolving environment.

Additional Details

  • Location: Fully remote within the United States.
  • Direct report to the Vice President of Operations.
  • Compensation includes salary with performance bonuses, commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits package covers health, vision, and dental insurance along with a 401(k) matching program.
