Job description

Role overview

The Franchise Onboarding Specialist will oversee the early-stage journey for newly signed Another Nine franchise locations, from agreement signature through opening and the first period of stabilization. The position works closely with franchise owners, internal departments, and outside vendors so each site launches on schedule, aligns with brand standards, and is set up for operational success.

As the main coordinator for opening activities, this person will help franchisees navigate the full launch process by keeping timelines moving, organizing key tasks, and acting as the primary connection between franchise owners and A9 HQ across real estate, design and construction, training, operations, vendors, and grand opening execution.

About Another Nine

Another Nine delivers a premium indoor golf experience. Established in Cincinnati in 2023, the company opened the city’s first and only 24/7 indoor golf venue with fully private simulator suites. It is now growing nationwide through company-owned and franchised sites, with more than 50 franchise territories already in development and a strong pipeline supporting expansion.

The business is a fast-growing startup backed by franchise specialists, supported by its proprietary A9OS platform, and focused on expanding access to golf across the country. With strong unit economics and accelerating franchise interest, the team is building the next stage of indoor golf.

The company looks for self-starters who can navigate ambiguity, solve problems quickly, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll work on

You will lead the franchise opening process after contract signing and continue through opening and early stabilization. This includes coordinating site readiness, reviewing layouts and operations, and helping shape the grand opening plan.

You will keep owners moving forward through regular check-ins that cover timelines, milestones, training readiness, marketing preparation, and launch execution.

You will work with internal teams and vendors to make sure systems, technology, and operational tools are set up on time.

You will serve as the owner’s main contact and trusted guide throughout the process, providing timely support and building strong franchisee relationships.

You will help ensure every location meets Another Nine’s standards for branding, operations, and pre-opening readiness.

You will monitor training progress, materials, and resources, flag risks early, maintain accurate documentation, and track opening status and reporting.

You will support a smooth transition to Franchise Success after opening and the initial stabilization period.

Ideal candidate profile

The right candidate brings a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related area, plus 2–4 years of experience in operations, project management, franchising, hospitality, corporate retail, or a similar multi-location customer-facing environment.

They should be comfortable managing several complex timelines at once, highly organized, and extremely detail-oriented.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are important, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with franchisees, vendors, and internal stakeholders at all levels.

The role calls for professionalism, calm decision-making under pressure, proactive problem-solving, and the confidence to work independently while keeping others informed.

The candidate should also be comfortable leading meetings, facilitating conversations, and guiding partners through complicated processes.

Preferred background

Helpful but not mandatory experience includes franchise marketing such as brand fund management, brand management, co-op advertising, or local marketing; supporting new location launches or operational rollouts; working directly in a franchise system; or supporting owners in golf, entertainment, fitness, or hospitality.

Experience with real estate, design, or construction work for retail or hospitality spaces is a plus, as is coordinating contractors, vendors, or other external partners.

Familiarity with tools such as G Suite, Notion, Slack, CRM platforms, project management software, and generative AI would be beneficial.

Advanced degrees or certifications are also welcome.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Benefits include flexible uncapped PTO, employer-sponsored healthcare, paid parental leave, and a learning and development budget.

The role is associated with the company’s HQ office in Sparkhaus, the entrepreneurial hub in NKY, and includes free golf at Another Nine facilities.

Location, reporting, and travel

Cincinnati/NKY is preferred, but the company is open to a remote arrangement for the right person. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2–3 days per week at the headquarters in Covington, Kentucky.

This position reports to the Director of Franchise Success.

Some travel may be required for franchise sites or company events.

Working style and team culture

Another Nine is a fast-moving early-stage company where priorities can change quickly and responsibilities may expand or shift from week to week. The team values candidates who are comfortable with ambiguity, can adapt quickly, and are energized by helping build something new.

The organization emphasizes fairness, direct communication, equity, human connection, diversity of thought, and collaboration. Team members are expected to pursue strong outcomes while keeping people at the center of the work.
