The company's fragrances are distributed both domestically and internationally across regions including the United States, Africa, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
Role Description
We are seeking a Fragrance Evaluator to join our team in Fort, Mumbai. The role involves conducting olfactive evaluations, selecting fragrances tailored to customer briefs, and mapping market fragrance products. You will be responsible for carrying out stability and sniff tests on fragrance samples, analyzing these results, and reporting findings to the marketing department. Familiarity with olfactive terminology and perfumery language is essential.
Close coordination with internal and external teams under the guidance of the Managing Director is required. Assistance in preparing samples and maintaining notes during fragrance evaluations will be expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform olfactive evaluations and select fragrances for various applications based on customer requirements.
- Analyze market fragrance products and create fragrance mappings.
- Conduct stability and sniff tests on fragrance samples; interpret and present analysis to marketing.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of fragrance materials and perfumery terminology.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners as directed by the Managing Director.
- Support the Managing Director by preparing samples and documenting evaluation notes.
- Evaluate fragrance applications in areas such as Agarbatti, Fabric Care, Personal Care, Fine Fragrances, and Hair Care, performing performance and comparative studies while maintaining records.
- Manage and standardize documentation and processes for the evaluation department.
- Provide fragrance genealogies, descriptive reports, and olfactive mapping documentation.
