Where you'll work
Job description
Role overview
Blacklane is looking for an FP&A Manager to strengthen decision-making with clear financial reporting, strong analysis, and close collaboration across the business. In this role, you will work with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to convert numbers into meaningful insight, support planning and performance management, and contribute to business growth.
What you will do
- Provide financial analysis that helps leaders make decisions, review performance, and shape business plans.
- Work closely with finance and other teams to understand what is driving results, along with potential risks and opportunities.
- Support monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning with accurate analysis and practical insight.
- Turn financial and operational data into recommendations that teams and leadership can act on.
- Improve planning, reporting, and analytical workflows so they become more efficient, consistent, and scalable.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, business cases, and strategic analysis as the company continues to expand.
What you bring
You should have 2–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or another analytical finance role. The role calls for experience in both internal and external reporting, plus strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and tracking performance.
You will need to be comfortable acting as a business partner to non-finance stakeholders, working with large datasets, and translating complex information into clear recommendations. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are required, and familiarity with BI or planning tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning is an advantage.
A structured, detail-focused, proactive working style is important, as is excellent English communication with the ability to explain financial topics clearly to different audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience in a fast-growing, international business environment.
- Exposure to board, investor, or management reporting.
