The role runs 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is centered on building strong partnerships with business leaders, turning financial data into practical guidance, and strengthening planning discipline across the organization.
What You’ll Do
You will act as a finance partner to GTM and other teams as needed, helping leaders understand priorities, constraints, and the main drivers of performance. The position combines financial analysis, business understanding, and strategic problem-solving to support decisions around hiring, investments, and trade-offs.

- Explain financial concepts in plain language and tailor communication to different audiences.
- Join weekly and monthly team reviews as a key source of financial clarity and strategic input.
Planning, Forecasting, and Headcount Management
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles using bottom-up and driver-based financial models.
- Coordinate headcount planning and align changes with People, Recruiting, and functional leaders.
- Monitor performance against budget and forecast, flagging risks or opportunities early and recommending corrective actions.
- Create scenarios that show the financial impact of different strategic options.
Analysis and Reporting
- Compare actual results to plan and forecast, and identify the key factors affecting performance.
- Build concise reporting packages and dashboards that highlight progress, wins, and areas needing adjustment.
- Work with Accounting during the close process to support accurate accruals and proper coding.
- Maintain and improve KPI frameworks that define success for each function.
Strategic and Ad Hoc Support
- Assess business cases for new initiatives, tools, programs, vendor spending, and organizational changes.
- Support analysis related to pricing, retention, efficiency, and unit economics.
- Prepare materials for company-wide reviews, board discussions, and leadership alignment sessions.
- Spot operational bottlenecks and help teams build more scalable ways of working.
Process and Systems Improvement
- Enhance planning tools, workflows, and reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Define consistent processes for budget ownership, forecasting, vendor management, and resource planning.
- Develop reusable templates and decision frameworks for common requests.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling ability, especially in advanced Google Sheets, along with solid analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, follow-through, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills and a low-ego, cross-functional working style.
- Comfort working with business partners across functions and adapting communication to different audiences.
- Curiosity and willingness to use AI tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, or Codex to work more efficiently is a plus.
