Role Overview
This opportunity is with Faithful Executive, a firm focused on interim management, consulting, and executive search. On behalf of a partner in Doha, Qatar, the business is hiring a Group FP&A Director to lead planning and performance management across hospitality, food and beverage, and real estate operations.
The role calls for a commercially minded finance leader who can shape budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while supporting senior leadership and the CFO.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the complete financial planning and analysis process across hospitality, F&B, and real estate businesses.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and regular performance reporting.
- Build and maintain financial models that support strategic decisions and planning.
- Review variances and key performance indicators, then turn findings into practical recommendations for leadership.
- Assess investment proposals, business cases, and merger or acquisition opportunities.
- Assist the CFO with board materials and executive reporting.
- Improve finance processes and introduce stronger operating practices.
- Maintain compliance with financial standards and relevant requirements.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related discipline is required; an MBA or CFA will be considered an advantage.
- Applicants should have 5–7 years of FP&A experience, ideally gained in hospitality, real estate, or multi-site F&B.
- Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and sophisticated financial modelling is expected.
- The role requires strong analytical ability, clear communication, and a confident executive presence.
- Advanced Excel capability and familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems are necessary.
- Previous work experience in the GCC region is mandatory.
- Leadership capability and strong stakeholder management skills are important.
- English fluency is essential; Arabic language skills would be a plus.
