Job description
Role overview
A leading global investment manager is expanding its Dublin Finance team and is looking for an FP&A Analyst to contribute from day one. The position offers immediate exposure to business decisions that have global reach and is suited to someone who wants a commercially focused finance role with visibility at senior level.
This is not a routine back-office reporting position. It is a high-impact opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving forecasting quality, and supporting strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Why this opportunity is compelling
- The Dublin team is newly established, giving the successful candidate room to influence how the function develops.
- There will be direct interaction with global FP&A teams and senior leadership.
- The role combines commercial FP&A work with more technical finance responsibilities.
- It includes cross-functional projects involving Risk, Strategy, and HR across the wider business.
- The organisation has a performance-led culture where strong contributors are recognised quickly.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of monthly management dashboards and reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
- Review revenue trends, cost movements, and KPI performance to improve forecasting precision.
- Work with business leaders on budget cycles and strategic planning activity.
- Develop financial models that inform product growth and expansion decisions.
- Assist with wider finance reporting needs as required by the finance team.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate brings 4 to 8 years of FP&A experience, with financial services experience preferred. Strong Excel capability is important, and experience with VBA or macros would be an advantage. You should be a confident communicator who can influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a demanding, high-pressure setting.
Additional information
This is a full-time onsite role based in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.
