Job description
Overview
A rapidly growing AI cybersecurity firm has secured approximately $200 million in funding, including a recent $125 million Series B round, and is looking to hire its first Video Content Producer. This critical role involves creating and managing all aspects of the company's video content from initial concept to final edit, shaping how the company is perceived visually across digital channels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the entire video production process, from idea generation through filming and editing.
- Frequently travel to key industry events across the US and internationally, usually twice a month.
- Film diverse content including executive interviews, event coverage, podcasts, office scenes, product launches, and behind-the-scenes material.
- Repurpose footage into multiple engaging short- and long-form videos.
- Direct founders, executives, team members, and guests during filming sessions.
- Handle camera, lighting, and audio setup and operation.
- Edit footage with attention to pacing, adding captions, music, graphics, and motion effects for a polished result.
- Proactively develop original video concepts during less active periods without awaiting briefs.
- Establish the company’s visual style guidelines, production standards, and content workflows.
- Build a scalable and repeatable content creation pipeline from scratch.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in video production, preferably within B2B technology companies or creative agencies focused on tech clients.
- Demonstrated expertise in videography and strong editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- A robust portfolio showcasing personally shot and edited content with people-centered storytelling such as interviews, events, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Confident working with senior leadership and founders on-camera.
- Excellent judgment in framing, lighting, audio capture, pacing, and narrative construction.
- Competent in managing projects from idea to published content across both short and long formats.
- Self-driven to create content briefs independently when events are not scheduled.
- Highly organized in managing travel plans, equipment, footage, and deadlines.
- Willing and able to travel frequently, including internationally.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Additional Details
Experience with cybersecurity, B2B SaaS, or enterprise technology sectors is a plus but not mandatory. Skills in photography and motion graphics add value. This position is focused on hands-on video production rather than social media posting, outsourcing, or agency management. Candidates must demonstrate originality and personal involvement in content creation.

You will be the inaugural creative hire in this function, with significant creative freedom and direct leadership access. The company is committed to investing in quality equipment, production support, and travel budget to enable excellent content creation.
