Role Overview
As the inaugural full-stack engineer, you will be pivotal in developing a cutting-edge entertainment engine. Charged with overseeing critical product components, you will architect systems capable of personalized recommendations at scale. Joining a close-knit team of three experienced individuals, you'll have substantial sway over the app's technical and product roadmap, supporting its rapid viral expansion and global engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Design and engineer core infrastructure that supports the delivery of trillions of AI tokens and hundreds of millions of user messages monthly to an international audience.
- Develop and optimize complex personalized recommendation algorithms that match users with community-generated interactive narratives and fanfiction.
- Lead full-stack feature development efforts ensuring top-notch performance and dependability while managing large portions of the product's interface and backend.
Candidate Profile
- Solid track record of building and managing scalable production infrastructure beyond standard platform-as-a-service solutions.
- Experience shipping impactful software products in fast-paced startup environments or through substantial independent projects showcasing a builder’s approach.
- Passion for fandom, literature, or storytelling, resonating with Y/n's mission to revolutionize narrative entertainment.
