Lifecor is an early-stage life insurance carrier in formation, focused on creating a modern, consumer-friendly life insurance experience.
The company is built on a straightforward idea: life insurance ought to be simpler to understand, quicker to access, and better aligned with the families and producers who rely on it.
As the business expands, Lifecor is seeking to establish a strong founder-led content presence across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social channels.
Role Overview
Lifecor is hiring a Founding Content & Social Media Lead to shape the brand’s online presence from the beginning.
In this role, you will partner directly with the founder to plan, film, edit, and publish both short-form and long-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and similar platforms.
The ideal person has a strong grasp of short-form video, founder-led storytelling, editing, hooks, captions, trends, and how to present business content in a clear, contemporary, and compelling way.
This is a highly hands-on creative position. The company is not seeking someone who only oversees social channels; it needs someone who can create, film, edit, post, test, and continuously improve content.
Responsibilities
- Capture founder-led video content for Lifecor.
- Edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Develop strong opening hooks, captions, subtitles, thumbnails, and video ideas.
- Transform Lifecor’s story, mission, and company updates into content that people want to watch and share.
- Help maintain a steady content calendar across multiple platforms.
- Design polished social graphics, quote posts, hiring posts, and simple brand visuals.
- Monitor content performance and refine future posts using data such as views, engagement, comments, and conversions.
- Keep pace with current trends while ensuring the brand remains professional and trustworthy.
- Make life insurance easier to understand through simple, direct content.
- Collaborate closely with the founder on filming, scripting, editing, and publishing.
Requirements
- Prior experience shooting and editing short-form video content.
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to present business-related content in a modern, polished, and engaging style.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, Canva, Photoshop, Figma, or equivalent software.
- Good instincts for pacing, hooks, captions, subtitles, and storytelling.
- Comfort working directly with a founder and filming content in person.
- Ability to move quickly and produce content consistently.
- Interest in startups, fintech, insurance, business, or founder-led brands is an advantage.
- A portfolio, sample videos, social accounts, or edited content examples are strongly preferred.
Compensation
This is an early-stage opportunity. Pay may be arranged as part-time, contract, stipend, equity-based, or a combination, depending on experience and fit.
