Job description
About Legion Health
Legion Health is on a mission to make mental health care faster, more affordable, and more effective for everyone. The company is building a new kind of clinic that is designed around AI from the ground up, where psychiatrists and AI systems work side by side to deliver high-quality care that is covered by insurance and available directly to patients.
By combining detailed patient data, production-ready AI, and human oversight, Legion Health automates the most complex parts of healthcare operations while aiming to improve care outcomes inside its own vertically integrated model. The company’s Texas market entry gives access to a large insured population, with most patients able to receive care for under $30, and it is positioned for rapid national expansion. The business is already generating strong annual recurring revenue and is continuing to scale quickly.
Role Overview
This is a full-time remote growth role focused on helping Legion Health expand patient acquisition, activation, and retention during a major growth phase. The position sits at the intersection of growth, product, analytics, and operations, giving the person in the role meaningful influence over both business performance and the patient journey as the company scales from a regional beachhead to a national platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the growth plan, choosing and prioritizing experiments that are most likely to improve acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Manage multiple acquisition and growth channels, including paid search and social, organic social, healthcare directories, lifecycle email and SMS, referrals, partnerships, SEO, and content.
- Use analytics and experimentation tools to study funnels, define success measures, and test ideas across channels and product touchpoints.
- Increase conversion rates and improve the patient journey across landing pages, onboarding, scheduling, and lifecycle communications.
- Translate quantitative findings, user interviews, and qualitative feedback into clear growth decisions and action items.
- Work closely with product, engineering, design, and clinical operations to reduce friction while protecting compliance and care quality.
- Create repeatable growth playbooks that can be scaled, reused, and handed off as the organization grows.
Success Profile
The right candidate will consistently launch experiments that improve key acquisition, activation, and retention metrics, develop a strong data-backed view of the growth funnel, and move quickly through ambiguous problems with a structured approach. They will help improve major patient journeys from landing page to booking to first visit and retention, while building trust across teams through strong communication, analysis, and execution. They should also be able to grow systems in a regulated healthcare setting in a way that is both effective and operationally sound.
Ideal Background and Skills
- Typically 2 to 5+ years of experience in growth, consulting, product strategy, marketing, or a similar operator role.
- Direct experience contributing to or owning several acquisition channels such as paid social, SEM, directories, lifecycle messaging, referrals, partnerships, and SEO.
- Strong analytical skills, including funnel analysis, experiment design, and clear data presentation, ideally with tools like PostHog and basic SQL.
- Comfort working in uncertain environments, making strong prioritization decisions, and learning quickly through execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard for quality.
- Strong ownership and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Helpful bonus experience in digital health, consumer growth, consulting, or regulated environments such as HIPAA- or healthcare-adjacent work.
Compensation and Benefits
- Meal stipends and similar perks are available.
- Unlimited flexible vacation policy.
- Flexible working hours.
- Remote work setup.
- The opportunity to work on a mission that affects millions of patients and families.
- High ownership over metrics, priorities, process design, and end-to-end outcomes.
- Potential for strong performers to move into expanded leadership responsibilities as the company scales.
