Role Overview

This position sits within a fast-growing analytics and AI team that handles the entire analytics lifecycle from problem framing to deployment. The role involves applying advanced data science and analytics to real business problems across different industries, helping clients design and implement innovative AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work on end-to-end analytics delivery, including defining business questions, building advanced models, and deploying scalable solutions. The role also includes helping clients and colleagues adopt AI solutions effectively.

In addition, the role requires collaboration with clients across regions and industries, including work on high-priority areas such as climate-related challenges. The candidate will also contribute to the team’s external presence by producing thought leadership content, publishing scientific work, and representing BCG X at conferences.

Candidate Profile

Ideal applicants are intellectually curious builders who act quickly, communicate clearly, and are comfortable working in a client-facing environment. They should be able to lead teams and translate complex results into simple, visually clear outputs.

Strong candidates can explain advanced data science ideas in a way that non-specialists can understand. They should also enjoy building practical solutions, be comfortable using modern development tools, and collaborate well while writing code. Experience in software development or DevOps is an added advantage.

The role calls for substantial experience using advanced analytics in varied business settings, strong ability to synthesize complex data, a solid grasp of modern machine learning methods and the mathematics behind them, and the ability to turn technical insights into business value. Strong project management skills are also important.
