Role overview
This position is located in Tuas, Singapore, with two-way transport available from selected MRT stations across the island. The hiring team will give priority to applicants who already have the legal right to work in Singapore and do not need visa sponsorship.
Pacific Refreshments Pte Ltd, the Coca-Cola Singapore manufacturing site, operates as a strategic concentrate plant in Asia. It produces concentrates and beverage bases for export, supports the ASEAN, South Pacific, and Southwest Asia business units, and has expanded in recent years to significantly increase production capacity. Key duties and responsibilities
- Review and validate BOM setups prepared during commercialization, including BOM audits, product kit breakdowns, batch sizing for manufacturing, and packaging configuration checks.
- Establish QA inspection plans for ingredients, packaging, intermediates, and finished products, while understanding the characteristics of each material and product type.
- Develop packaging specifications and set up company and facility profiles for new packaging materials and suppliers.
- Verify the accuracy of data entered into the different sections of the master data setup.
- Support finished product label approval by checking importing-country SRA requirements, preparing information for operations, confirming label template accuracy, and granting final approval for use.
- Take the lead in, or actively contribute to, Formula and Regulatory projects across CPS Asia.
- Assess regulatory obligations related to quality, food safety, and halal, and implement necessary mitigation or corrective actions to ensure compliance.
- Participate in Halal Assurance System activities where relevant, including communication with BU/region stakeholders and halal authorities, coordination with buyers and suppliers, and ongoing validation of halal certificates and supporting documents.
- Promote process improvement through optimization and digitalization within Formula and Regulatory workstreams.
- Find opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring tasks such as master data checks, reporting, tracking, and compliance records.
- Create and maintain dashboards, automated reports, or workflows using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, or similar applications to strengthen visibility of data.
Requirements
- A degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Applicants should have 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in quality, formulation, regulatory, regulatory affairs, or similar technical roles within food, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing settings.
- Fresh graduates may apply, especially those with a strong interest in digital work and related skills such as Power Automate or Power BI.
- Hands-on capability in data analysis, digital tools, and automation is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP, including modules such as material master, BOM, formula, or related areas, will be an advantage.
- Understanding of formula setup and interpretation is needed.
- The role calls for accuracy, discipline, consistency, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.
- Strong English communication skills are required, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint, is expected.
