Foreman - Finishing - Site

About the Role

The Foreman for Finishing works on-site is a crucial first-line supervisory role responsible for overseeing and coordinating all daily finishing activities. This includes tasks such as plastering, painting, tiling, flooring, cladding, and false ceiling installations. The primary objective is to ensure that all finishing operations are completed according to approved architectural drawings and project specifications, meeting stringent quality standards and adhering to project timelines. The Foreman will lead and manage labor teams, prioritizing safety, maximizing productivity, and upholding the highest quality benchmarks throughout the construction site.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a variety of finishing tasks on-site, including wall plastering, painting, installation of tiles and marble, joinery, false ceiling construction, and facade work.
• Assign specific duties to labor teams and subcontractors, ensuring optimal utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret basic finishing drawings to ensure all work aligns with project specifications and established workmanship standards.
• Track the daily advancement of finishing activities, promptly reporting any challenges or schedule deviations to site engineers or the project manager.
• Conduct thorough inspections of both ongoing and completed work areas to verify quality, accuracy of alignment, proper leveling, and the overall surface finish.
• Maintain order and discipline within the labor teams, enforcing strict adherence to site safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
