Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Food Server position in the Doha Metropolitan Area. The role centers on delivering attentive guest service, taking and managing orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring food and beverages are served promptly and correctly. You will also help maintain a clean, organized dining area while following hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Key Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly, present the menu, and respond to questions about dishes and beverages.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the relevant teams.
  • Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check in with guests to make sure their needs are being met and handle special requests where possible.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to support smooth and accurate service.
  • Prepare tables before service and clear them after guests finish dining.
  • Keep the dining area tidy and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Follow food hygiene, safety, and handling procedures at all times.
  • Process payments according to company guidelines and service procedures.
  • Maintain a neat professional appearance and follow established service protocols.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have strong guest-handling and communication skills, along with practical knowledge of food and beverage service. A basic understanding of menu items, ingredients, cooking methods, and dietary considerations is helpful. The role requires someone who can stay organized, pay close attention to detail, and perform well in a busy environment. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards is important. Prior work in restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred, though it is not compulsory. The person should also be comfortable collaborating with diverse colleagues and following standard operating procedures.

Work Schedule

This position is based on-site in Doha and may require evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays depending on business needs.
