Role Overview

We are seeking a Food Safety Officer to ensure our Central Kitchen and all outlets maintain cleanliness, safety, and full adherence to FSSAI regulations. The position requires a hands-on approach, involving frequent site visits to various locations with base at the Central Kitchen in Wadgaon Sheri.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with FSSAI standards across the Central Kitchen and all outlets, maintaining readiness for inspections.
• Implement and monitor hygiene and food safety protocols at every location.
• Supervise proper storage and transportation of food at appropriate temperatures.
• Conduct regular hygiene inspections in kitchens and outlets, promptly addressing any issues.
• Oversee cleaning procedures, pest management, and waste disposal practices to uphold hygiene standards.
• Provide training sessions for staff focused on hygienic food handling and safety procedures.
• Investigate food quality complaints to identify root causes and resolve them effectively.
• Maintain detailed documentation for audit purposes and inspection records.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a degree or diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or Microbiology.
• Have between 2 to 4 years' experience in food safety or quality assurance, preferably in restaurant, cloud kitchen, or food factory settings.
• Strong expertise in FSSAI regulations and food hygiene practices.
• Mandatory possession of FoSTaC certification.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Pune to various outlets.
• Demonstrate a practical, responsible nature with a hands-on work ethic.

• Location of the position is Pune, Maharashtra, India, with primary work at the Central Kitchen in Wadgaon Sheri.
• Job type is full-time employment.
• Monthly salary ranges from 25000 to 30000 INR.
