Key duties

  • Put food safety procedures into practice and monitor them throughout the production process.
  • Carry out routine quality inspections across food preparation and service activities.
  • Keep detailed records of inspection results, quality checks, and related documentation.
  • Review raw materials, ingredients, in-process items, and finished bakery products to confirm they meet company standards.
  • Inspect product packaging for visible quality issues and verify that labels and data are accurate and complete.
  • Collect samples at different stages such as processing, proofing, and baking, then perform sensory checks.
  • Support training efforts so staff follow proper food safety practices.
  • Identify and resolve concerns related to product quality and food safety.
  • Conduct food safety audits according to SOP guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a food-related discipline and bring 6 to 10 years of experience in F&B operations. The role requires familiarity with food safety standards, regulatory compliance, and quality control documentation. A HACCP certification is needed, along with strong MS Office skills and the ability to prepare and present reports.
