Role Overview

The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks from the kitchen directly to guests. Daily responsibilities include close collaboration with servers and kitchen staff to verify orders against tickets and present dishes that meet the bistro’s quality requirements. The position also involves keeping service areas clean, assisting with table arrangements, supporting expeditors during peak times, and courteously handling basic guest requests. This full-time position is based on-site in Riyadh, demanding keen attention to detail, agility in movement throughout the dining area, and dedication to maintaining seamless service operations.

Key Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or food and beverage settings with a grasp of fundamental restaurant procedures.
• Ability to assist with expediting duties, organizing orders, and coordinating timing between kitchen and service teams.
• Excellent communication and customer service capabilities to engage effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Physical stamina to remain on feet for long durations, safely carry multiple plates or trays, and move swiftly in a bustling environment.
• Strong focus on detail to ensure order accuracy, correct table numbering, and proper presentation standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Dependability, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude; previous experience in restaurants or hotels advantageous.
• Basic English skills required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus for interacting with local guests in Riyadh.
