Overview
Bake Chef Co. is hiring a food counter attendant for its Calgary, Alberta location. This is an on-site role, so the work needs to be performed at the physical workplace with no remote option.

Work Setting
This role is based in an urban area.
Responsibilities
- Keep dishwashing mats, carts, and waste disposal units clean and hygienic.
- Clear tables, trays, and chairs, then clean them for continued use.
- Load buspans and trays as needed.
- Run dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Store cleaned dishes in the appropriate area.
- Refill condiments and other supplies at tables and service counters.
- Wash dishes and other items by hand when required.
- Scrub pots and pans thoroughly.
- Pack food for take-out orders.
- Portion, wrap, and prepare food items for service.
- Heat and finish simple menu items.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet-style stations.
- Restock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Use manual and powered equipment to clean, peel, slice, and trim food ingredients.
- Clean kitchen work areas, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning supplies safely.
- Receive deliveries and put supplies away in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and garbage.
- Sharpen kitchen knives when necessary.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables.
Additional Information
Public transportation is available for commuting to the workplace.
