About the Role

Join the Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo as an enthusiastic and skilled Food & Beverage Team Leader, where you'll ensure outstanding guest experiences within the Meetings and Events (M&E) department while managing a motivated team in a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the M&E department, guaranteeing seamless service and compliance with brand standards.
• Support the M&E Manager during weddings and special events, acting as the primary liaison for brides, grooms, event organisers, and VIPs at the top table.
• Lead, encourage, and develop team members through continuous training and feedback.
• Maintain excellent guest satisfaction by quickly resolving complaints and concerns.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food and beverage are delivered on time and correctly.
• Help create and implement new food & beverage initiatives and promotional activities.
• Ensure the workplace remains clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
• Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory position within the food & beverage sector, such as hotels or restaurants.
• Strong leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal skills capable of inspiring and developing a team.
• Superior communication and customer service capabilities.
• Ability to handle pressure effectively and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
