Role Summary
The Food & Beverage Service Stewards at Phinui play a vital role in supporting daily dining operations. Their responsibilities include setting up and maintaining service stations, preparing and arranging tables, and ensuring cleanliness of all service items. Stewards collaborate closely with kitchen and service personnel to facilitate seamless service, assist guests with food and beverage needs, and efficiently clear and reset tables. They also help with stock management and perform basic cleaning duties. The role involves working full-time on-site with flexibility for shifts including weekends and holidays.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficiency in food service and beverage operations with knowledge of fundamental service standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage politely and professionally with guests and team members.
- Basic culinary knowledge and familiarity with menu offerings to assist guests and support service teams effectively.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, stand for long durations, and undertake physical activities such as lifting and carrying.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and dedication to upholding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous though not essential.
- Availability for flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Completion of secondary education or equivalent; additional certifications or training in hospitality are beneficial.
