Currently, Ventia seeks two dedicated Food & Beverage Attendants for full-time and casual positions at HMAS Cerberus, the largest naval training base in Victoria. This opportunity entails providing excellent service to Defence personnel, visitors, and staff, contributing to a respectful and professional hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve military personnel with a focus on delivering consistent and exceptional customer service each shift.
• Operate professional bar service in compliance with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and bar spaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation and restocking supplies as needed.
• Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of a supportive team.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in hospitality or catering services is essential.
• Possession of a current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to acquire one.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is required.
• Strong commitment to high-quality customer service and a positive work attitude.
• Australian citizenship is mandatory to obtain Defence Security Clearance and satisfy the Australian Federal Police Check.

Additional Information

• The role includes a rotating roster covering weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
• Hourly remuneration: $27.10 for full-time employees, and $33.88 for casual employees, with applicable penalty rates.
• This position is part of a 6-year Defence Base Services contract, with potential for extension.
• Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided.
