Role Overview
Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel is seeking energetic and service-oriented Food and Beverage Attendants to join the team on a casual basis. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in guest interaction, and can work flexibly across breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
Work is rostered across all seven days of the week, including weekends and public holidays. Split shifts may also be required. A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is mandatory for the role.
Key Duties
- Record guest orders accurately and with attention to individual preferences.
- Suggest menu items and beverage options confidently and knowledgeably.
- Deliver food and drinks in a professional, efficient, and guest-focused manner.
- Provide friendly, attentive service and respond quickly to guest needs.
- Help create a positive dining experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
Shift Pattern and Pay
The role may involve breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, with rotating shifts from Monday through Sunday. Some days may require split shifts.
Pay rates before superannuation are listed as follows: Monday to Friday at $31.19 per hour, Saturday at $37.43 per hour, and Sunday at $43.66 per hour.
Candidate Profile
Successful applicants should bring prior experience as waitstaff, bartenders, or in a comparable hospitality role. They should also demonstrate strong customer service ability, professional presentation, good communication skills, a positive and welcoming attitude, and the reliability to perform well in a busy environment.
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, is essential.
