Position Summary

The Food and Beverage Supervisor at Al Samriya Autograph Collection plays a vital role in ensuring excellent service standards by fostering teamwork among staff to meet guest expectations efficiently. Responsibilities include monitoring staff appearance, completing opening and closing procedures such as preparing supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the premises. The role demands inspecting storage for cleanliness and organization, employing FIFO methods, managing inventory, and requisitioning supplies as necessary.

The supervisor also oversees dining room operations to ensure guest safety, satisfaction, and proper seating availability. Maintenance requests are managed through work orders.

Team Leadership and Compliance

Supporting management in staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, counseling, discipline, and motivation is essential. The supervisor acts as a role model and initial point of contact regarding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy. Full compliance with company policies, and safety and security standards is required, including accident reporting and completing mandatory safety training.

Maintaining professionalism in uniform and demeanor, protecting confidential and company assets, and providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests with sincere appreciation are key duties. Effective, clear communication and fostering positive work relationships help unify team goals and resolve employee concerns.

Quality and Efficiency Improvement

Adhering to quality benchmarks, the supervisor identifies and recommends improvements to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The role involves visual checking of information and equipment, standing or moving for extended periods, lifting and handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, maneuvering through confined spaces, stair navigation, and performing varied physical tasks such as bending and twisting. Additional reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in food and beverage.
• A minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity.
