Food and Beverage Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive, customized service with a friendly demeanor.
• Precisely record food and beverage orders ensuring accuracy.
• Serve meals and drinks aligned with standards typical of luxury and fine-dining establishments.
• Proactively anticipate guest preferences and promptly accommodate specific requests.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and available beverages.
• Keep tables, dining spaces, and service tools impeccably arranged and clean.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and discretion.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and seamless service delivery.
• Comply fully with food safety, hygiene, grooming, and operational protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality, especially when serving high-profile patrons.

Requirements

• Preferably hold a diploma or relevant certification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or related disciplines.
• At least two years of experience in luxury hotels, upscale dining, or equivalent high-end hospitality settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of luxury service protocols, table manners, and food and beverage handling procedures.
• Well-versed in food allergen awareness, hygiene standards, and safe sanitary practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Professional dress and grooming standards maintained consistently.
• Ability to stay calm, attentive, and discreet in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Keen attention to detail with capacity to foresee and meet guest requirements.
• Willingness to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
• Proficiency in English communication; additional languages such as Arabic are advantageous.
• Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred.
