Job description
Position Overview
The Food and Beverage Service Expert role is centered on creating exceptional dining experiences that guests remember fondly. This position involves more than just serving food; it encompasses setting tables, coordinating between kitchen and guests, providing attentive service, and ensuring cleanliness and order in the workplace.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up dining areas and manage table settings efficiently.
- Serve guests by communicating effectively with kitchen staff and attending to guest needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas and supplies.
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and make service transactions seamless.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
- Uphold company quality standards and maintain a professional appearance and communication style at all times.
- Be physically active on the job including standing, walking, and operating in varying floor conditions; perform lifting and moving of objects up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) is required.
- No prior supervisory experience required; applicants with less than 1 year of related experience are welcome.
- No licenses or certifications are necessary for this position.
Additional Information
This position is non-management and on-site, based in Doha, Qatar at the Conference Centre Street, West Bay location. The schedule is full-time.
