Role overview
The Food and Beverage Manager will take charge of the full F&B function at Best Western Plus Accra Beach Hotel, ensuring guests receive a high-quality experience while the department remains profitable, efficient, and aligned with hospitality best practices.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service activities.
- Maintain consistent service delivery across all food and beverage outlets.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets while protecting profitability.
- Track food and beverage expenses and keep cost levels under control.
- Safeguard product quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Ensure all hygiene, sanitation, and compliance requirements are met.
- Oversee hiring, staff training, and shift scheduling.
- Support promotions, menu updates, and other initiatives that help grow business.
Performance expectations
- Increase food and beverage revenue.
- Maintain target cost percentages.
- Improve guest satisfaction levels.
- Control inventory effectively.
- Deliver efficient service operations.
Qualifications and experience
- A degree in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or a closely related discipline is required.
- At least 7 years of experience in food and beverage operations is needed.
- A minimum of 3 years in a management role is required.
- Hands-on knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory management, cost control, and HACCP principles is expected.
- The role calls for strong leadership ability, a customer-first approach, and solid commercial awareness.
