Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Riyadh is focused on food and beverage development. The person in this role will create new menu concepts, improve current recipes, and make sure the food served reflects Gourmena’s standards for freshness, healthiness, and taste.

Key Duties

On a day-to-day basis, the role includes partnering with kitchen team members, guiding food preparation activities, checking product quality, and making sure dishes are presented well. The position also supports service staff in keeping operations running smoothly and works with customer-facing teams to collect feedback and continuously enhance the menu and guest experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should bring strong knowledge of food service and food and beverage operations with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Good customer service and communication abilities are important for working with guests and colleagues. Practical culinary ability is also needed, including basic cooking methods, recipe creation, and food presentation.

Prior exposure to menu development, food safety practices, and kitchen operations will be helpful. The candidate should be comfortable working onsite in Riyadh, able to adjust to a fast-moving environment, and willing to collaborate with different teams. Education or certification in culinary arts, hospitality, or food and beverage management is considered an advantage.

Additional Requirement

Experience with delivery platforms and launch processes, specifically Jahez, Keeta, and HungerStation, from setup through going live is a plus.
