Food and Beverage Attendant

The Role

We are looking for a passionate Food and Beverage Attendant to become a part of our team at Sudima Christchurch Airport. Whether you have extensive experience or are new to hospitality, we invite you to join us as full training will be provided. This casual position is located at Sudima Christchurch Airport and requires availability on weekends. Compensation is $25 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer a friendly and welcoming greeting to all guests
• Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding dining experiences
• Prepare the restaurant for service periods
• Manage seating arrangements, take orders, and provide excellent service consistently
• Handle internal and external phone inquiries and coordinate room service delivery
• Process and settle guest bills accurately
• Address any guest complaints promptly and ensure satisfactory resolutions

Candidate Requirements

• Available to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
• Capable of staying composed under pressure and committed to enhancing guests' experiences
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills with keen attention to detail
• Eager to learn and advance within the hospitality industry
• Previous experience in restaurant or bar service or other customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory
• Possess valid right to work in New Zealand
