Role overview
Mount Lofty House is hiring experienced and enthusiastic section waiters to join its hospitality team across several service areas, including Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant, Martha Hardy’s à la carte restaurant, Hardy’s Verandah High Tea, breakfast service for in-house guests, and special events such as functions and weddings.
The role sits within a premium dining environment where the focus is on delivering polished service, genuine hospitality, and memorable guest experiences.
Key duties
You will be expected to provide attentive, high-quality service across different luxury dining formats, work closely with a professional hospitality team, and consistently uphold strong standards of guest care, accuracy, and service excellence.

Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should have a genuine passion for food, wine, and creating standout guest experiences. Prior experience in fine dining or degustation service is considered a strong advantage. Availability across a seven-day roster, including evenings and weekends, is required. A current driver’s licence and dependable transport are needed to access the Adelaide Hills location.
