About the Role

Located just minutes from Sydney Domestic Terminal and a short taxi ride from the city center, Mantra on Sydney Airport offers comfortable accommodation complemented by an onsite restaurant and bar. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will warmly welcome guests and guide them through our culinary offerings, enhancing their dining experience with your expertise in food and beverages.

Primary Responsibilities

• Foster a warm, inviting environment turning each interaction into a memorable experience.
• Approach challenges positively, turning difficulties into opportunities through problem-solving skills.
• Enhance dining occasions by personally recommending food and drink selections in both regular outlets and special events.
• Engage in thoughtful upselling focused on enriching guest experiences beyond mere sales.
• Continuously update your product knowledge to better inform guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain high standards by carefully preparing and tidying service areas before and after service.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable customer service experience within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service protocols including table service, beverage handling, event service, and coffee making is highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work across various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Certification or valid qualification in responsible service of alcohol (RSA) or its equivalent for the applicable region.
• A genuine passion for interacting with guests and collaborating with a diverse team.
