About the Role
The Ickworth, part of the renowned Luxury Family Hotels group, is seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team following a recent refurbishment. With a stunning location in the Suffolk countryside, The Ickworth is celebrated for creating memorable family experiences in a beautiful heritage setting. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues and the kitchen team to ensure an outstanding guest experience, embodying the values of the Luxury Family Hotels brand.
- Engage warmly with visitors, using your personality to leave lasting positive impressions, especially for families with young children.
- Maintain a safe dining environment by staying knowledgeable about the full menu, particularly regarding allergens and dietary requirements.
- Consistently keep all food and beverage areas clean and hygienic in strict accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Prior hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential; a passion for customer service is central.
- Display a proactive and helpful attitude at all times, delivering service with warmth and professionalism.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required to meet the needs of the hotel.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the working area.
