Position Summary
Based in Anchorage, AK, ConocoPhillips Aviation - Alaska is seeking a Flight Attendant to oversee the safety and welfare of passengers aboard company aircraft. This role entails full responsibility for the cabin during all phases of flight, emphasizing safe, efficient service and compliance with all regulatory and company standards. Candidates must reside within 90 minutes of the ConocoPhillips Aviation Hangar. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to DOT and corporate drug testing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Uphold and promote ConocoPhillips' zero-incident safety culture while delivering quality passenger service.
- Engage in preflight briefings and safety checks ensuring all equipment is functional.
- Instruct passengers following FAR 125.327 regulations and ensure their safety throughout the flight.
- Effectively communicate with a diverse group of passengers and crew.
- Prepare and serve refreshments, including alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain physical readiness for prolonged standing, confined spaces, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Manage passenger and crew conduct during normal, abnormal, and emergency scenarios.
- Assist in securing the aircraft post-flight and participate in ongoing training to maintain proficiency.
- Adhere to all aircraft and ground security protocols.
- Perform additional non-flight duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- At least one year of professional experience as a flight attendant.
- Physical capability to meet the job’s demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in Hospitality, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or equivalent.
- Adaptability and resilience to handle a variety of duties and high-stress situations.
- Proactive and safe communication aligned with company safety priorities.
Physical and Work Environment Demands
- Availability to work all days including evenings, holidays, weekends, and unscheduled overtime as flight schedules demand.
- Daily physical activities involving lifting, bending, carrying, and stair climbing.
- Proficiency in English for communication and documentation.
- Position designated as safety-sensitive.
