Position overview
REWE is hiring a meat counter specialist for its fresh food department in Leipzig. The role is based at the Petersstr. 33-35 store in the city center and is offered as a permanent position with a weekly working time of 30 to 38 hours.
What the role involves
The fresh food counter is a key area of the store. In this role, you will use your expertise in meat, sausages, cheese, and delicatessen products to guide customers, present goods attractively, and create high-quality specialty items.
Your day-to-day contribution
- You will support shoppers with knowledgeable advice, appealing product presentation, and friendly service.
- You will handle the preparation, refinement, and portioning of products with care and skill.
- You will produce selected specialty items independently using in-house recipes.
- You will keep a close eye on product freshness, stock presentation, and compliance with hygiene standards.

Working conditions and additional information
