Our Impact
We provide income-generating assets like two- and three-wheelers through a rent-to-own model, supporting over 55,000 Champions. Role Overview: Fleet Officer
The Fleet Officer is tasked with overseeing the setup, upkeep, refurbishment, quality checks, and security of the vehicle fleet in their area. This involves ensuring regular maintenance and timely vehicle refurbishments within cost and quality constraints.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle tests prior to maintenance to determine repairs needed.
- Monitor repair processes and ensure spare parts are efficiently used.
- Collaborate with vehicle maintenance management to refine checklists and routines.
- Regularly inspect workshops to verify maintenance aligns with MAX standards.
- Test vehicles post-maintenance to confirm completion of necessary repairs.
- Assist in vehicle refurbishment assessments before and after the process to ensure quality and standards compliance.
- Inspect spare parts for refurbishment suitability.
- Provide guidance to technicians on best maintenance practices.
- Ensure all maintenance/refurbishment activities are documented with job cards.
- Organize frequent training sessions for technicians.
Requirements
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles.
- Proficient with MS Office or Google Workspace applications.
- Solid understanding of fleet management concepts.
- Analytical thinking with great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and thoroughly.
- Minimum OND in any engineering discipline; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- At least two years experience as a vehicle technician or in fleet management.
